Stay Connected

Hey there, I’m Sam.

I’m so happy you’re here. My story isn’t just about surviving—it’s about thriving.  My journey is one of resilience, rebirth, and relentless determination. I’ve faced the depths of addiction, overcome homelessness, and suffered through years and years of unjust incarceration for the ‘crime’ of being addicted before addiction was considered to be a disease.

I know what it takes to turn pain into power. For most of my

life, I believed I was just not good enough. I allowed how people who didn’t know me within the criminal justice system felt about me determine how I felt about myself.

I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom over and over, and I know the power of rising from the ashes—more empowered, more aligned, and more unstoppable than ever before. I’m living proof that no matter how far down you’ve gone, you can rise, reclaim your power, and build a life that feels aligned with your deepest purpose.

Today, my life is built on a foundation of strength, spirituality, and a deep passion for helping others reclaim their power and rediscover their purpose.
When I found a sliver of self-worth, that’s all it took; I decided to keep an open mind and try anything I hadn’t tried already. I left my apartment and checked into our local homeless shelter with a 450 credit score and a correctional GPS around my ankle. From there, I did in three years what most people can’t do in a lifetime.

I worked on myself with a clear vision of who I wanted to be. I used the law of attraction and lessons learned over twenty years of struggles to craft my own program. I transformed my life from the ground up, becoming a Certified Addiction Recovery and Life Coach, a Reiki II practitioner, a licensed Crystal and Sound Healing Therapist, and a believer in the power of holistic healing.

After a lot of hard work and becoming a Certified Credit Counselor, I purchased my own 350k home, and I never looked back. I’m not even close to done yet. As a late-in-life single mom, a creative, and an entrepreneur, I believe that life is about progress, not perfection. I’m here to inspire, motivate, empower, and help you tap into your own transformation.

You are capable of more than you know, and I’m here to remind you of who you are and precisely what you are capable of. Whether I’m writing, coaching, or creating something new, I do it all with one mission: to help you see the unstoppable force you are.

I’m not about perfection—I’m about progress, growth, and helping you find your own unique path to success. Let’s walk this journey together because your story is far from over.

How Can I Help?

I empower individuals to reclaim their lives, embrace their imperfections, and transform their struggles into strengths.

Through a unique blend of personal experience, professional certification, and holistic healing practices, I offer compassionate guidance and actionable tools to help you thrive—whether you’re on a journey of addiction, recovery, mental illness, personal growth, spiritual development, or you are just someone who has spent your life fighting for everything others are given freely.

With Progressing Not Perfecting, I provide a judgment-free, supportive space for you to tap into your own power, rewrite your story, and make meaningful, lasting progress in every area of your life.

I’ve been where you are, and I’m here to show you that with the right mindset, tools, and support, you can overcome any obstacle and create a life of purpose, balance, and transformation.

There is tremendous value here even if you can’t afford coaching. My entire platform is designed to provide support, resources, and guidance through the content I create. You’ll find free articles, blog posts, and videos that dive deep into topics like addiction recovery, personal growth, mental health, and spiritual development. These are filled with actionable steps and tools that can help you make real progress on your journey—without having to spend a dime.

I’m committed to making sure my content adds value by offering practical advice, emotional support, and spiritual insights based on my own experiences of overcoming addiction, rebuilding my life, and finding healing. Whether through my blog posts on mindset shifts, resources on holistic healing practices like crystal and sound therapy, or tips on using the law of attraction, there’s a wealth of knowledge that can help you start transforming your life right now.

Additionally, I regularly share free tools like journals, workbooks, and exclusive challenges to help you stay accountable and make meaningful changes. I also host live sessions and share newsletters packed with unique insights to keep you inspired and supported.

So even without paid coaching, you’ll have access to everything you need to begin or continue your personal journey. My goal is to provide real value and help people transform their lives, no matter where they are on their path.

that I am a total nerd. I spent my entire childhood with my nose in a book and I am still obsessed with books, learning, and knowledge. My kids have more books than their school library, and I read to them every single night.

“First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.”

-Napoleon Hill

Imagination is the starting point for all creation. It’s where our thoughts begin to take shape, forming the foundation for ideas and plans. As we organize these ideas, they evolve into clear, actionable steps.

The true magic happens when we take those steps and turn our vision into reality. This process highlights the power of our inner world—where what begins as a mere thought can transform into something tangible and impactful.

It all starts with the ability to imagine and then methodically bring that imagination to life.
